Swimming in the Gulf

Frigid at first, then quite balmy as you become accustomed to the temperature - reportedly at 71F, but with this hot sun and 82F weather, it is quite refreshing.

Tuesday was a bit of a sun day and a birthday dinner out with friend Di Semple and her husband Mark (we go back over 30 years) who arrived in Sarasota Monday from Perth, Ontario. Di and I celebrate our birthdays the same day so another Pisces set.

This morning we were up at daybreak and went to Panera to join my sister Janet and her friends for coffee, chats and lots of laughs.

Today we will head to the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, which includes a waterfront mansion, Circus museum, a rose garden, and many more attractions.
Birthday cake!
