Another beautiful day, and at sunset we walked the beach and saw about 4 dolphins offshore - we saw fins and heads and not much else - enough to know what they were. A beautiful sight at sunset. 


People gathered to witness this sight and the birds were on the beach by the hundreds. Every now and then they would take flight and then settle in another spot. Quite something to see them so close overhead.

We had a slow morning, and were out on the beach getting some sun around 11. After a few hours of that we headed in, and then down to Phillippi Creek for a seafood lunch...the restaurant is right on the water with prominently posted signs not to feed the birds or alligators. Lots of birds but none of the other, thank heavens!
