Florida: Picture Perfect

A Perfect day

Well if this isn't the view of heavenly sands I don't know what is. We awoke to blue skies and sunshine...and altho forecast to be cool it isn't. The beach is littered with tanning beds and chairs chalk full of all shapes, sizes and shades of people.

The 2 sisters are off doing some house viewing, and I'm heading for the beach for a wee siesta.

Sushi and concretes for lunch...and stuffed portobello mushrooms and salad for dinner, with fresh pineapple for dessert. Rather healthy eh?

Janet and I walked the beach all the way to the north end where you could see Lido Key in the distance and south to where you could see Venice also in the distance. It was such a clear day but still windy. Of well, better than the snow I hear we are getting at home!
